CLASSES
**EXPLORING FAITH? | ALPHA COURSE** note - this class starts at 6.00pm
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions designed to explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. Each session looks at a different question of life and faith, and is designed to create conversation.
The course usually runs over 10 weeks and includes three key elements:
- Food – Sharing a meal or refreshments together to build community.
- Talk – A short film or talk introducing a topic such as Who is Jesus?, Why and how should I pray?, Does God heal today?
- Discussion – A chance to share thoughts, ask questions, and explore ideas in a small group, with no pressure and no judgment.
Alpha is for anyone curious about life, faith, or God - whether new to Christianity, returning after some time away, or just exploring. It’s a space to listen, learn, discuss, and discover in a relaxed setting.
**BIBLE STUDY | COLOSSIANS**
Freedom and Fullness in Jesus Alone
Join our 8-week journey through Paul’s letter to the Colossians. Written to a young church surrounded by competing voices and beliefs, this letter powerfully proclaims the supremacy of Jesus. Paul reminds us that Christ is not just part of our faith - He is the centre of everything.
Colossians invites us to live deeply rooted in who Jesus is and what He has done, rejecting distractions and substitutes that promise fullness but cannot deliver it. It calls us to maturity, freedom, and transformation as we learn to walk in the reality of Christ living in us.
Across these weeks, we’ll explore what it means to:
- Live anchored in the supremacy of Christ
- Grow into spiritual maturity and freedom
- Put off old ways and put on new life
- Reflect Jesus in everyday relationships
Wherever you are in your faith journey, this study is an invitation to go deeper - grounded in truth, strengthened in faith, and shaped by the life of Christ within you. Together, let’s discover the fullness found in Him alone in Him.
**BOOK GROUP | GOD'S BOOK**
This book group explores 'God’s Book' by Andrew Ollerton, a thoughtful and accessible guide to some of the Bible’s most challenging questions. Together, we’ll engage honestly with topics that often raise doubts or spark debate - such as science and creation, violence and slavery, sex, suffering, and heaven and hell.
As we read through the book, we’ll discover how the Bible tells one unified story from Genesis to Revelation, and how understanding Scripture in its original historical and cultural context helps difficult passages make sense today. Each week we’ll read sections together, discuss insights, and create space for open conversation, curiosity, and reflection.
This group is for anyone who is spiritually curious, wrestling with questions, or wanting to understand the Bible more clearly. Whether you’re exploring faith or looking to share it with greater confidence, God’s Book offers a safe and engaging space to think deeply, ask honestly, and grow together.
**DISCIPLESHIP CLASS | THE BIBLE COURSE**
This group explores The Bible Course, a video-based journey designed to help us understand the Bible as one unified story centered on Jesus. Each session, we’ll watch the teaching together and then take time to discuss, reflect, and ask questions in a relaxed and open environment.
As we move through the story of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, we’ll discover how the different books of the Bible fit together and how God’s story continues to shape our lives today. The course is accessible, engaging, and designed for both those new to the Bible and those wanting a deeper understanding.
This group is for anyone who wants to grow in confidence reading the Bible, connect the dots between its different parts, and explore faith in community. No prior knowledge needed—just a willingness to watch, listen, and join the conversation.
**MINISTRY TRAINING | PROPHETIC
This class explores Manual: Basic Training for the Prophetic, a practical and grounding introduction to hearing God’s voice and growing in prophetic confidence. Together, we’ll work through the core principles of the prophetic, creating a safe and healthy environment to learn, practice, and grow.
Each session will include teaching, guided exercises, and time for reflection and discussion, helping us recognize how God speaks and how to respond with wisdom, humility, and love. The focus is on developing a strong biblical foundation, healthy character, and a culture that values encouragement and discernment.
This class is for anyone curious about the prophetic, those wanting to grow in sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, or those seeking to build confidence in hearing and sharing what God may be saying. No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, practice, and grow together.
PRAYER AND WORSHIP
At the close of the evening, we gather as a community for free-flow worship and prayer—thanking God, celebrating His goodness, and valuing the gift of seeking His presence together.
